El pasado martes 16 de mayo se llevaron a cabo los premios Women of Vision en Nueva York y la Meghan Markle, y esposa del príncipe Harry, fue galardonada por su papel como potenciadora del empoderamiento femenino.
Markle recibió el galardón de manos de la abogada Gloria Steinem pero lo curioso de la ceremonia, aunque lo fue el premio por su labor de activista, también lo fue la forma en que iba vestida, pues llevaba una prenda de la diseñadora colombiana Johanna Ortiz.

En la alfombra de los premios, se vio a Markle con su vestido en donde debido a esta prenda, algunos medios internacionales la catalogaron como “una duquesa de oro”.
A propósito de su vestimenta, la duquesa no solo llevó a Colombia por lo alto vistiendo un diseño de Johanna Ortiz modificado especialmente para ella, sino que también vistió prendas de Carolina Herrera y Tom Ford.
Markle estuvo acompañada en esta ceremonia por el príncipe Harry, su madre Doria Ragland y además, su presencia en estos premios se trató de la primera aparición pública de la duquesa tras la coronación del rey Carlos lll.
