Casa Blanca amenazó con despidos masivos si los demócratas no aprueban una extensión del gasto

La Oficina de Gestión y Presupuesto advirtió que la administración republicana iría más allá de la práctica habitual de licencias temporales durante cierres.

Aunque el encuentro no se había oficializado, fuentes de la Casa Blanca habían indicado a medios que el presidente tenía previsto verse este jueves con los líderes de las minorías demócratas en la Cámara de Representantes y el Senado.

Trump no descartó un cierre del Gobierno federal por el rechazo del presupuesto temporal

Ante este panorama, ambos bloques legislativos tendrán 10 días para negociar y lograr que la propuesta sume 60 votos a favor para evitar así el posible cierre de Gobierno.
